RODERE the Rat God

Beneath the ground swirls a newly forming God, churning in on itself, squirming and wriggling Their multitude of bodies together. The Rat God, a ball of writhing rats that have become psychically and spiritually one, is a new God, God of the lost, the forlorn, the catcher of prayers mumbled into cheap vodka, defender of those fallen between the cracks of society, and the hope of the downtrodden. 

Welcome to RODERE the Rat God, a Mosaic Strict for the Tiny Library Mosaic game jam (Modern Fantasy) Game Jam. This is a fragment or seed of an idea for any TTRPG where a swhirling pile of sentient, psychically connected rats becoming a God makes sense. You can use it give a weird NPC, some odd quests, or even make a cleric really question their relationship to the Gods. Or not, I don't know, whatever works. 

It is set and styled to fit in a Modern Fantasy game, but with a few word choice changes it can fit into anything. Hell, probably could put it in a spaceship TTRPG and it'd work. Kind of.
