Greetings LORDSWORNS!

First, thank you to everyone who has downloaded the Ashcan of LORDSWORN (and survived the many typos and missing prompts?! therein). I’m pinging your inboxes today with some BIG news coming at you: LORDSWORN will be joining the chorus of Indies funding Cool TTRPGs in February!! February 1st, to be exact. 

What will I be raising funds for? Well, to start, a physical print run of the game (as well as a fully updated and gorgeous new PDF version)! It’ll include a beautiful new cover from Stoneshore and lots of evocative interior art by Zed Nope. On top of that, I’ll be doing a lot of polishing on the words and mechanics of the game, with new tables, harsher resolution tables, wounds tables, did I mention new tables, and 99.8% less fewer typos and missing prompts!! Overall, a much-improved experience of LORDSWORN through and through.

What does this mean for the Ashcan version? Well, I’ll be keeping this version up for downloads until the beginning of the campaign! This Ashcan was great in forcing me to Finish a Damn Game and have something to show for it, but it’s rough and when I began editing it, I found myself tinkering far too much (And being distracted from, y’know, setting up the actual Kickstarter…) so I stopped to not get completely derailed by it. 

If you want a version of this battered and messy Ashcan, you’ve got about a week to download it and digitally hoard its sloppiness! You can even brag that you were into LORDSWORN before it contained all four prompts for [checks notes], the Bandit Turned Lordsworn, Noble Knight, Scholarly Mage, and Scarred Medic!
