The overall design structure of the game is done quite well I would say, I like a lot of the world-building and the openness of the encounters for roleplay.
It says on the page "support at or above the price point to have access to exclusive content", did we also have access to this exclusive content on the kickstarter?
Ohhhh, I see now!! That's just a weird "Itch interface" thing, whenever we make a "reward" item (using the Rewards and Exclusive Content" part of the backend) for Community Copies, it shows up like that. There's no "exclusive content" gated behind it though, it's just a weird backend thing!! :)
Hi! Thank you so much for wanting to leave a rating, those are always super helpful. :) When you go to "Rate this game," it should give you a little text box to leave feedback as well as the star rating. Let me know if it's still giving your trouble though, that is odd if so.
I played this with a friend on New Years Eve and we had an amazing time. We noticed that it was absolutely possible to roleplay the event scenes but decided on collaborative storytelling instead and really enjoyed that! At the halfway point of events we had already lost 3 Lordsworns with the remaining ones having 2, 2 and 1 wound each. We were convinced we wouldn't make it and the characters development was steering towards bittersweet hopefulness. But with sheer insane luck we managed to finally suceed on missions and got to victory by the skin of our teeth. We had a beautiful and melancholic saved godless ending were we were able to give every character a fitting send off. I can't wait to play this game again!
Lordsworn is a game about loss, despair and finding hope in community.
I played this game twice with two different friends and I had an absolute blast each time! The mechanic is amazing, especially when you fail an event: it's always very tense when we roll to know the outcome. We got really attached to our characters, roleplayed some downtimes to deepen their relationships between scenes. The more we were close to the end, the more we thought we couldn't make it and it made our victory even better.
If we did succeed twice, we lost at least two lordsworns in each game (and those brutal moments were awesome to roleplay). I'll definitely play it again!
I'd strongly recommend Lordsworn to anyone who love chivalric tales, the soulsborne games and drama.
Hi! Sorry, this got lost in my notifications. Labelled as Queer for a few reasons, honestly - queer creator, queer co-creators, and in game queer deities.
Hey! Thanks for asking, apologies I realize it's a little less clear here than on the Kickstarter for the roadmap. I'll add that over the next few days to make it clearer! :)
Version 0.7 will be coming Soon, likely February 4th/5th. Then progress continues to 1.0!

What is the exclusive content? I backed the kickstarter and got the book yesterday, but there was no exclusive content that i'm aware of...?
Hi there, what exclusive content are you asking about? Are you having difficulty accessing the digital files here?

Got it, thanks for the info! I received the book Sunday and read it front to back, great stuff, looking forward to solo run it soon
I want to leave a 5 star rating but can’t see the option to leave feedback

Honestly great game for an afternoon of solo playing
I can tell you had a lot of fun doing all the worldbuilding and I applaud you for that

Out of curiosity, why is this game labelled as Queer? Because it was submitted to the Trans Rights bundle?

Hi there! I wanted to check in on the development of this. Things are still progressing to v1.0?
